Biography
Judy Olson (née Waligura) graduated from Torrington High School in 1970, and magna cum laude from Fulton-Montgomery Community College in 1992, with an A.A.S. degree in Visual Communications.
From 1992 to 2003, she worked as a color evaluator for Quad/Graphics, at the Saratoga Springs plant. In the image capture area of Quad's Imaging department, Judy did scanning, color correction, and retouching for numerous publications, among them National Geographic, Travel & Leisure, and Yankee magazines, as well as catalogs for Orvis and Talbots.
Judy lives with her husband Eric in a log cabin in the southern Adirondacks of New York State. She has three children: Dan and Dave Chapin, Amanda Pitcher, and several grandchildren.
